Also I was
pleased to see that my longwire antenna was doing a good job on 17 Metres.
All
the above contact were made using 5 watts to a 150 ft longwire.

ReplyDeleteNice to see that 80 meters is alive and well, I am going to load up my dipole (via the tuner) and see how far 5 watts gets me on 80 meters WSPR hopefully this weekend.

thank you guys for taking the time to comment, i do not work 80m very often and it was very interesting as i worked the Americans without a second CQ..lol.. i had the feeling not many MW's on JT65 on 80m....and LU8ENU on 17m at about 1,356 miles per watt is a new record for my short time QRP..
